FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

No spin. If something about a pilgrimage — or about us — gives you pause, this is where we say the true thing.

Is The Way a travel agency?
No. The Way is a discovery and referral service. We help you find and prepare for the right pilgrimage, then introduce you to a licensed, vetted tour operator who arranges and runs the trip. You book and pay them directly. We never handle your trip payment.
Then how do you make money?
Every licensed partner pays us the same flat finder's fee when you choose to travel with them — the same amount no matter which operator you pick or how much your trip costs. It doesn't come out of your pocket as a surcharge, and because that fee never changes, we have no financial reason to push you toward a pricier trip or a particular company.
Could a partner pay you more to recommend them?
No — and we built it that way on purpose. Every partner pays us the exact same flat fee, so we never earn more by steering you to one over another. If we let commissions vary, we'd be tempted to recommend whoever paid the most instead of whoever fits you best — which is the very conflict we exist to avoid. We'd rather make less and keep your trust.
Why is that better for me?
In the common pilgrimage model, the person advising you often earns more the more they sell you, with a 'free' group-leader seat folded into everyone's fare. Because our fee is flat and equal across every partner, the only thing left to base a recommendation on is you. It's advice with nothing to sell.
Do I have to be a Christian to come?
No. Our journeys are built for believers, doubters, and the genuinely curious alike. We don't preach a verdict or pressure you toward a conclusion. We take you to where the story happened and let you draw your own.
Is it safe to travel to the Holy Land right now?
It depends entirely on the current situation, which can change quickly. We will always be honest with you rather than eager to sell — if a region isn't safe, we'll say so and point you to another journey (Paul's footsteps in Greece and Turkey, or Rome). Final safety calls rest with you and the licensed operator, informed by official travel advisories.
What does a pilgrimage actually cost?
Indicative starting prices are shown on each journey for transparency, typically from around S$4,500–5,200 per person for the land programme, with international flights additional. Your final, all-in price is confirmed directly with the licensed operator — never marked up by us.
What is the 'Find Your Way' tool?
It's a gentle, Scripture-grounded guide that helps you reflect on where you are and which journey might fit. It asks questions rather than handing out verdicts, and it's never a substitute for a pastor, a counsellor, or professional care.
