How it works

We’re not a travel agency. We’re your guide to one.

That distinction is the whole point — it's what lets us put your journey ahead of a sale. Here's exactly how the model works, in plain terms.

You discover

You start with a question, not a booking. Our guide — built in the spirit of the road to Emmaus — helps you find which journey fits where you actually are: believer, doubter, or simply curious.

We prepare you

We send you readings, Scripture, and questions to carry — so you arrive ready to receive the place, not just photograph it. Preparation is most of what makes a pilgrimage a pilgrimage.

We match you to a licensed partner

When you're ready, we introduce you to a vetted, licensed tour operator who specialises in your journey. They handle flights, hotels, ground, guides, insurance — everything regulated.

You pay them directly

Your money and your contract are with the licensed operator — never with us. You see the real price. We never touch your trip payment, so we have no reason to inflate it.

Why we built it this way

Most pilgrimage advice hides who it really serves.

In the usual model, a group leader travels free by filling the bus — and the cost of that free seat is quietly folded into everyone else’s fare. The more they sell you, the better they do. It’s not dishonest, exactly. But it means the person advising you has a reason to sell, not to serve.

A referral service has its own version of that temptation, and we’d be lying to pretend otherwise: if one operator paid us more than another, we’d be tempted to steer you to them — not to the one that actually fits you. So we designed that temptation out, on purpose.

How we’re paid

A flat fee. The same from every partner.

Every licensed partner pays us the same flat finder’s fee — the same amount whether your trip costs S$4,000 or S$9,000, and the same no matter which operator you choose. We earn nothing extra by sending you to a pricier journey, and nothing extra by sending you to one company over another.

That one decision is the whole point. Because the fee never changes, the only thing left to base a recommendation on is you— your questions, your budget, the guide who’d serve you best. It costs us money to refuse the higher commissions; we think that cost isthe product. It’s the difference between a guide and a salesman.
